Microsoft has released another update for the Xbox One. Members of the Xbox One preview program will now be able to access the update.

The update, version 1405, now greys out the “Get System Update” button when there is not an update available. When an update becomes available, the “Get System Update” button will light up and users can then force their Xbox One to install the update immediately.

The update also fixes several problems that members in the preview group were having, such as: Party Chat being muted when the Party was not snapped, as well as an issue with Game DVR not recording sound.

My Opinion:

It’s great to see Microsoft updating the console at a quick rate. Not only does it show that they are listening to feedback from members of the preview beta but also that they are keeping the promise they made a few months back about updating the console regularly.
