Killzone: Shadow Fall’sIntercept DLC will include an online four-player co-op mode when it arrives next month.
If you are a season pass holder, you will automatically get the DLC for free. However, if you don’t have a season pass, it will be available as a standalone option later this year.
The PlayStation Blog describes the DLC as, “Killzone Shadow Fall Intercept places you and up to three of your friends on the elite VSA team known as Intelligence Squad Alpha. Operating behind enemy lines, your team is on a mission to intercept and relay Helghast military transmissions back to VSA headquarters.”
Intercept will introduce four combat roles that you can choose to play as: Assault, Marksman, Medic, and Tactician. For a longer description, be sure and check out the PlayStation Blog reveal.
In celebration of Killzone: Shadow Fall Intercept’s announcement, Guerrilla Games has reduced the price of Killzone: Shadow Fall to $39.99 on the PlayStation Store.
This actually sounds pretty cool. I love it when FPS games add multiplayer DLC, and I love it even more when they add a co-op mode. I used to be a very competitive FPS multiplayer guy, but now I enjoy playing alongside my friends against NPCs much more. Most importantly, I’m glad that Guerrilla Games is still supporting Killzone: Shadow Fall!
