This week’s Xbox One system update includes one more cool feature that wasn’t previously revealed: the ability to Snap the Skype app.
Snapping the Xbox One Skype app will make it much easier to chat using Skype while playing a game. If you want to grab this 53mb update, just launch the Skype app on your Xbox One and it will start the download.
It is also worth noting that another change will happen to the Skype app next month, when Microsoft removes the Xbox Live Gold paywall that currently restricts free use of it.
My Opinion:
Like I said in the update story yesterday, this seems like an option that should have already been included with the Xbox One. It is silly that it took so long to make it work. With that said, it is great to see that Microsoft is working hard on making the Xbox One as good as it can possibly be with little updates like this. Congrats Microsoft on another win!
