EA may have a few surprises up its sleeves for E3, including a new game from Criterion, the makers of Burnout, as well as more information about Mirror’s Edge.
These games, as reported by Siliconera, were mentioned at Spike TV’s schedule presented by GameTrailers. Both Mirror’s Edge and this new Criterion game were among half a dozen games that will be shown at E3 by EA.
Mirror’s Edge, a reboot of the original game, will be open-world and will include revamped gameplay.Fans of the original shouldn’t worry because it seems EA has not intention to turn the game into a shooter. The game is currently in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Although little is known about Criterion’s game, EA will be show it off at their E3 press conference. For more information, stay turned to Middle of Nowhere Gaming.
Let me guess the other games: Madden, NBA, NHL, UFC, etc. EA is known for sports and will most likely have a strong focus on them too. However, one thing must be considered: EA now has the rights to make games for Star Wars. Could we see more Battlefront? The revival of 1313? There is a great reason to be excited for EA’s conference this year. Only Monday will tell.
