Trailers Revealed for Sonic Boom Games

Sega has released a pair of trailers for the upcoming Sonic Boom games for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

The Wii U version of the game, titled Shattered Crystal, is reminiscent of Sonic Heroes, as there are four characters on the screen at the same time in certain parts of the game. Have a look at the Wii U trailer below.

The 3DS version, Rise of Lyric, looks more like classic Sonic games, with 2D gameplay. This version includes Sticks the Jungle Badger, a new female character with boomerang skills. Like the Wii U version, each character has different skills you must use to progress.

Both games are scheduled to release this November.

My Opinion:

Both of these games look fairly interesting. The 2D Sonic games tend to be better than the 3D ones, so the 3DS game looks more interesting to me than the Wii U one, but we’ll have to see once November comes.
