One of Gone Home’s developers, Johnnemann Nordhagen, is starting up a new development studio.
His new studio will be called Dim Bulb Games, which sounds like a play on words with his old studio, the Fullbright Company. The announcement came via Twitter, where he eventually explained that the new studio will be set in San Francisco.
Dim Bulb Games now has an official website, though it contains no details on what he is planning for it.
Nordhagen worked with Steve Gaynor and the other members of the Fullbright Company on Minerva’s Den, DLC for BioShock 2, before starting the Fullbright Company and developing Gone Home. If you remember,we interviewed Steve Gaynor back in October about Gone Home.
My Opinion:
This is interesting news. I wonder what, if any, effect this will have on the Fullbright Company. I am hoping to get an interview with him soon to discuss his vision for his new company. Either way, I wish him the best of luck and can’t wait to find out what he develops next.
