No Man’s Sky Could Come to Other Platforms in the Future

No Man’s Sky, the ambitious, apparently infinite space exploration game currently in development by Hello Games could be coming to other platforms.

Originally shown at Sony’s E3 press conference, No Man’s Sky was said to be launching first on PlayStation 4.

In a preview article on Eurogamer, Hello Games’ Sean Murray states, “The wording is we’re doing a console debut on PS4. The thing that that leaves open is a PC version.”

But what about other consoles? Game Informer reports, “While Hello Games isn’t discussing other platforms now, a representative suggested to us that once the PlayStation 4 version is finished, the studio could turn its attention to other formats.”

No Man’s Sky will release first on PlayStation 4, but a release date has yet to be announced.

My Opinion:

No Man’s Sky looks to be the game I’ve always dreamed of playing, so the more gamers that get to experience it the better. While Hello Games is a small studio promising a big game, I believe that they can pull it off. Hopefully we’ll find out sooner than later since no release window has even been mentioned.
