Platinum Games Developing Legend of Korra Game

Platinum Games is developing a game based on the popular Nickelodeon cartoon, The Legend of Korra, for home consoles and PC.

The Legend of Korra will be a third person, action game starring Korra.  Similar to the show, the player will control all four elements: water, fire, earth, and air.  The game takes place between the show’s second and third season.

Platinum Games is known for fast-paced action games such as Bayonetta and Metal Gear Rising: Revengance.

A turn-based 3DS Legend of Korra game was also announced alongside the console version, however it is being developed by Webfoot Technologies.

Expect to see Legend of Korra this Fall on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

My Opinion:

Platinum Games is currently working on Bayonetta 2, Scalebound, and now this.  A Legend of Korra game by Platinum sounds like a great idea, but I am afraid they may be spreading themselves too thin.
