Freedom Wars, the latest action PS Vita game developed by Shift (the studio behind God Eater) is out now in Japan and 4Gamer has released a 12 minute gameplay video. While a western release has been confirmed, no official release date has been announced.

The game is set in the not too distant future, where atmospheric pollution has damaged the earth, depleting resources. Harsh communities known as Panopticons have formed and anyone guilty of a crime are given a million year sentence which can only be reduced by serving as soldiers in war.

My Opinion:

Freedom Wars had already caught my eye since the very beginning and after seeing this gameplay footage, I am convinced that this is a must have for Vita owners everywhere.
