Sony is making a splash with their announcement that the aforementioned Wave Blue DualShock 4 controller will be available for purchase in the United States this fall.

Sony announced two new colors for the DualShock 4 at last year’s GamesCom event: Magma Red and Wave Blue. Since the announcement the two versions have only been available for purchase in Japan, until the most recent announcement. Sony also announced at their E3 press conference this year that there will be an Urban Camouflage edition as well.

My Opinion:

I think the Wave Blue color looks great! Definitely a nice change from the original, all-black DualShock controller that comes with the PlayStation 4. Every gamer wants to be happy and comfortable not only with the game they’re playing, but the accessories that go along with playing the game to enhance the gaming experience. Adding vibrantly colored controllers is a great step in that direction.
