Ubisoft Announces ‘Riders of the Rustlands’ DLC for Trials Fusion

Today, Trial Fusion’s first piece of downloadable content, Riders of the Rustlands, was announced by Ubisoft. The DLC will include new tracks, challenges and more.

The Riders of the Rustlands pack will be released globally on July 29th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PC. It will be free for season pass holders and $5 for anyone who hasn’t bought the season pass. The expansion will include:

  • 10 New Tracks
  • 5 New Achievements/Trophies
  • 18 New Track Challenges
  • Dozens of New Track Editor Objects

Ubisoft also detailed the rest of the content to be delivered to gamers who bought the $20 season pass. The next DLC is named “Empire of the Sky” and will be released in “late summer” according to the announcement. The other four pieces of content to be distributed by May 2015 are:

  • Welcome to the Abyss
  • Fire in the Deep
  • Fault One Zero
  • After the Incident

Gamers who do not have the season pass should be able to download these expansions separately, however no individual prices have been announced.

My Opinion:

Trials Fusion is one of the most painfully fun games I’ve ever had the joy of playing. New content is likely to pull me back in after my rage-quit induced hiatus. Seriously though, bring it on.
