EA has revealed that U.S. soccer star, Clint Dempsey, will be joining Lionel Messi on the cover of FIFA 15 in North America.

 

The cover for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be slightly different. The PS4 cover will feature Dempsey in his USA jersey while the Xbox One cover will showcase his Seattle Sounders uniform with the Xbox brand on it.

 

 

FIFA 15 is scheduled to be released on September 23rd.

 

My Opinion:

This is a smart move by EA. Dempsey is currently the face of U.S. soccer. With plenty of excitement coming off the recent World Cup, there is no reason not to take advantage. I would have found it entertaining to see the PS4 cover with the Seattle Sounders Xbox Jersey though.
