Sega revealed the release dates and cover art for Sonic Boom on Wii U and 3DS on their blog yesterday.

Both games will be coming to their respective platforms on November 11, 2014. The Wii U game’s official title is Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric, while the 3DS title is Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal.

My Opinion:

Sonic has lost a bit of his industry swagger over the years. While I’m glad they still make Sonic games, I haven’t really enjoyed one since Sonic and Knuckles. I believe the transition to 3D really hurt this series. I’m sure they will get it right one day, maybe this will be the game that does it.
