Atlus and NIS America announced that they will be localizing Tears to Tiara II: Heir of the Overlord for North America and Europe.
Originally titled just Tears to Tiara II in Japan, the strategy role-playing game will include English text and the original Japanese audio tracks when it makes it way west.
Although the first game was never localized for the western audience, Atlus promises that the storytelling between battles will make sure players are caught up on what they need to know.
Tears to Tiara II: Heir of the Overlord and will be released on October 14th as a PlayStation 3 exclusive for $39.99 in North America, and on October 11th in Europe.
I wish I could say that I am a strategy RPG fan, but I’m not. However, I know that there is a huge fanbase for this genre so it is nice to see another game coming west to satisfy their hunger for more. I find it interesting that they announced this game three months out from release because of how long localization normally takes. I am curious if it is because they are not recording English voice tracks or not.
