Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Gets A Release Date

Atlus has released the date of which Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is arriving. The Atlus X Arc System Works sequel will be the second time they have teamed up. The first time was for Persona 4 Arena. The new game will take place shortly after the events of Persona 4 Arena.

A pre-order bonus is an 18” Teddie Bop Bag. For first run copies, players will be able to get the first tarot card set, which comes with 11 cards. The second tarot card set will be packed in with first run copies of Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth for Nintendo 3DS. Marie and Adachi will be free DLC for one week only. Atlus has also revealed that Margaret will be a playable character, but it’s unknown if she’ll be free for the first week or not. Marie and Margaret were residents at the Velvet Room, while Adachi was a rookie detective.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is coming out for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 30.

My Opinion:

While I’m more excited about Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, I’m still excited for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. Having Adachi, Marie, and possibly Margaret as free DLC is smart on Atlus’ part. I’m not sure when I’ll get this, but I’ll download the DLC as soon as I can when it’s released. If I do end up getting this along with Persona Q in November, I’m planning on framing the cards.
