Have you purchased a PlayStation 4 but are missing the frantic violence of a madman through a colorful and electronic filter? Well, put down your  first person shooter and stop taking those drugs because Hotline Miami finally gets a release date for the PS4.

Hotline Miami will be available for the current generation system on August 19th in North America and August 20th across the pond. The game is said to have PS4 specific controls, like moving the controller to perform executions and using the touchpad for looking around the corner — similar to the Vita’s control scheme.

Speaking of Vita, those who have already purchased the PS3 and Vita versions can get the PS4 version via cross-buy.

My Opinion:

Yes. Although I never have finished the Vita version, I am excited to play through this game again and see the pixelated game in glorious current generation. Now for Hotline Miami 2!!!
