The zombie survival game, DayZ, is coming to PlayStation 4, Bohemia Interactive’s Dean Hall announced during PlayStation’s Gamescom press conference.

Although there were no videos or screenshots shown, Dean Hall said that it was being developed to the PlayStation 4’s strengths and that there will be 64-bit servers and a cross-platform renderer.

DayZ is currently exclusive to PC and is in Early Access.  There is no release date for when it is coming to PlayStation 4 at this time.

My Opinion:

I have wanted to play DayZ for a very long time, but am not much of a PC gamer.  So this is the perfect announcement for me! I cannot wait to play DayZ!
