Ubisoft released two new trailers to the next game in the Far Cry series, Far Cry 4. Far Cry 4, while the successor to Far Cry 4, has no storyline connection the previous game. The two trailers show off both the story of Far Cry 4 and Keys to Kyrat.
The first trailer, they revealed some of the story — Pagan Min, Far Cry 4’s main villain, is creating a hectic civil war and find Shangri La. The trailer showed off three locations; Kyrat, The Himalayans, and Shangri La. Each area will have different ways to play and do.
The other trailer focuses on The Keys to Kyrat, a PlayStation exclusive feature. It will allow players that don’t own the game to be invited by those that do own them for two hours. The two hours can be used to capture bases or hang around the open world Co-Op style. Each purchase of the game will come with ten of these keys, mirroring a Destiny-like promotion of the game.
Far Cry 4 releases on November 18th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
My Opinion:
The more I see if Far Cry 4, the more I get excited. I loved Far Cry 3, so I welcome a Far Cry 4. Hopefully it matches what made Far Cry 3 so great. The Keys toKyrat is interesting, but the two hours seems a little short. I understand that they can’t be too long, but two hours can seem short when you play with a friend.
