Valiant Hearts Coming to iOS

Valiant Hearts: The Great War will be released on iOS devices on September 4, 2014, according to Ubisoft’s blog. Originally released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on June 25, 2014, the story-driven platformer focuses on the lives of four individuals experiencing different aspects of World War I.

iPad, iPhone, and iPod owners will play a slightly modified version of the game which will take advantage of their touchscreen capability.

There has been no information indicating a release on Android devices.

My Opinion:

Generally, I think it’s great for games to be released on more platforms, including mobile. However, the problem I have with console to iOS ports is pricing. Often, iOS ports are much cheaper than their console counterparts, and as a frugal gamer, it’s disappointing to think that I could’ve waited for a cheaper and more portable version.
