A release date has been set for the fourth and final DLC for Muramasa Rebirth.  Titled “Hell’s Where the Heart Is”, the DLC for the PlayStation Vita title launches September 2nd in North America and September 3rd in Europe.

Players will be able to purchase it digitally via the PlayStation Network.  The final chapter of the Genroku Legends from developer Vanillaware stars Rajyaki.  Rajyaki, also known as the Oni Musume (demon girl) is the Lord of Hell’s daughter. In the story, she becomes entangled in a romantic situation of sorts with Seikichi, a former monk and current womanizer.  Gamers control Rajyaki and can switch between three different forms: child, woman, and beast to vary the speed and damage of attacks.  Watch the trailer below for a better look at what the DLC has to offer.

 

 

My Opinion:  

I think it is great that Vanillaware has continued to support Muramasa Rebirth with DLC that has expanded the world of the game with new characters.  This latest DLC definitely has a unique character in Rajyaki, and seems to bring some comedy to the mix with her relationship with Seikichi.  I am eager to see what Vanillaware has in store next, perhaps a sequel to Dragon’s Crown is in order following the success of the game.
