Weekends are meant strictly for gaming; at least that’s what we think. Here is where you can find out all of our crazy plans for the upcoming weekend!

I’ll be deep in the Metro this week.  lol.  (Metro: 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux)

 

Lou Contaldi, Executive Editor:

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to actually sit down and play some games. I spending this weekend getting lost in the deep, deep world of Diablo III on the PlayStation 4.

I’m probably going to dabble in some First Light — I keep telling myself not to get lost in the arena mode, but it is nearly impossible. I can lose hours at a time with that!

 

Myles Farrington, Senior Editor:

Gonna go eat some of the most reasonable costing sushi around, and some of the most delicious. That’s the highlight of my life until Destiny drops.

 

Shawn Richards, Associate Editor:

Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment, inFAMOUS: First Light, The Last of Us: Remastered mostly. Trying to get into the swing of school and everything else will also be a struggle this weekend, especially with work and homework. I will, however, be able to sneak some time in and get some gaming done. I mean, we all need a break sometimes, right? Right?

 

Jesse Webster, Senior Writer:

Shin Megami Tensei IV. I’ve made quite a bit of progress these past few days. I think I’m still early on, but I have a feeling that I’ll need to start grinding soon. Demons practically stealing from you as you try to recruit them is getting annoying though. There is also a good chance that I’ll be getting Diablo III: Reaper of Souls for the PlayStation 4.

 

Aaron Dobbe, Associate Writer:

I’ll mostly be trophy hunting in Dragon’s Crown, though I’ll be hopping online with Mario Kart 8 as well. Maybe I’ll get started on Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, but I still haven’t decided whether or not I want to buy it just yet.

 

Audrey Lips, Associate Writer:

I, like Lou, will also be playing Diablo III this weekend on the PlayStation 4. Apparently I’m falling into the “My girlfriend is obsessed with playing Diablo ever since I made her play it with me” stereotype.

Other than that I won’t be playing too much. I’m going to a Motley Crue concert Saturday so I’ll be headbanging to that!

 

Benjamin Luthi, Associate Writer:

This weekend, I will be at the beach, dreaming about those fancy new 3DS models. But don’t worry, I’ll take my current 3DS with me. Maybe get in some of that Kirby Fighters Deluxe or something. Or maybe not. Depends on how much shade there is.

 

Darwin Leuba, Associate Writer:

Thanks to Steam’s recent sale, I’ll be binging The Walking Dead: Season 2. The rest of the weekend will be dedicated to pondering and/or lamenting my choices while eating Nutella in bed.

 

Dustin LaRoe, Associate Writer:

This weekend is all about Guacamelee. If I mange to clear that, I’ll work on NES Remix 2 and Shovel Knight and maybe Mario Kart 8.

 

Harry Loizides, Associate Writer:

This has been a busy week and will continue to be a busy weekend! Hopefully I’ll be able to play some games, let’s see if I can finish Metroid Fusion. No promises.

 

Jake Dekker, Associate Writer:

I will most likely be spending most of my weekend working through Metro Redux.  I played Last Light when it launched last year, but I missed out on 2033.  The game has its issues, but so far it has been a good time sink that will hopefully last me until Destiny!

 

Patrick Garrity, Associate Writer:

At PAX. So I’ll probably be busy.  Peace!!!

 

Ryan Latuso, Associate Writer:

Uncharted 3 if anything. Opening weekend for college football so mostly drinking and watching football.

 

Scott Deisner, Associate Writer:  

I’m going on hiatus for some time after Friday.  I’ve been pushing myself pretty hard lately and feel it’s time for a breather.  This means I can see a number of games in my future, but most of the time I see some Minecraft, StarCraft 2, and Diablo 3!  I can also picture a new character in my Ultimate Evil Edition.

 

Shaun Fales, Associate Writer:

Pokemon White 2 which just arrived in the mail today and I’ll also be putting finishing touches on my Madden 15 review. Destiny is only a week and a half away!

 

Tyler Bartlemus, Associate Writer:

As school is now back into session, I will likely be too busy to play any games this weekend. However, if I can squeeze in the time to do so, I will continue on my playthroughs of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag and Pokemon X.
