Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- Limited Edition Coming to PS3 and PS4

If you’re a fan of the Guilty Gear series, you’re about to have a reason to be happy. It was just announced by Aksys Games (publisher) that Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- will be released in America this holiday season, and there will be a limited edition available. Get this, the limited edition is exclusive to America.

It has been seven years since the last American Guilty Gear release and it looks like they’re bringing it back in a big way. The two limited editions have a ten dollar difference in price points with the PlayStation 3 version costing $69.99 and the PlayStation 4 version coming in at $79.99. As for what the limited edition will include:

  • The Backyard – A high-quality replica of “The Backyard” book, featuring gears and binding
  • Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- Soundtrack
  • Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- Character Artbook – The go-to book for catching up on the lore of the Guilty Gear characters
  • Sol Badguy “Free” Keychain – A scaled replica of one of the main characters’ signature belt buckle

My Opinion:

I’m excited for Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign-. I’ve been a fan of the series since I picked up the first one in the very beginning, but I don’t think I would spend the money on these special editions. The only thing that I would really want is the Free keychain. Regardless, I’ll definitely pick up the standard edition and enjoy getting rocked in fights… I don’t have very much skill when it comes to fighting games, but don’t tell anyone.

Myles K Farrington is one of the MONG Senior Editors and has recently been losing a lot of sleep due to Destiny. There looks to be no end to the fatigue in sight and he’s not too broken up about it. Keep up with him over on IGN, Twitch, and Twitter as well!
