The digital version of the Pokémon Trading Card Game will be available tomorrow for iPad.

The game had been out on PC and Mac for awhile when the iPad version was revealed last month by way of Josh Wittenkeller, a famous Pokémon YouTuber.

Pokémon Trading Card Game for iPad connects to your PC or Mac profile so your decks and cards will carry over to your iPad.

Like Hearthstone and other popular digital card games, players can collect cards by earning them or purchasing them.  However, with the Pokémon Trading Card Game, players can also get cards through codes that come packaged with the physical cards.

My Opinion:

Out of all the Pokémon spinoffs Nintendo has come up with, the cards were always the least interesting to me.  While I did collect the cards when I was younger, I never actually learned how to play.  This is not something I will be picking up, however this must be great news for fans the card game.
