World of Warcraft Pre-Release Patch Goes Live This Week

The pre-release patch for the upcoming expansion World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor is set to go live this week, Blizzard has announced.  Patch 6.0.2 will go live Tuesday, October 14, 2014 for US players and EU players will get the update on Wednesday, October 15, 2014.

The pre-launch event called the Iron Horde will take place with this patch.  Players will be able to participate in the world event by stopping the horde as the pour through the Dark Portal and try to invade Azeroth.

The patch will also bring an overhaul to many of the games current systems. These overhauls include updated character models, improvements to the Dungeon Finder, Stat changes, and Class revamps.

World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor expansion is set for a worldwide release on November 13th.

My Opinion:

All systems are go.  This is the big content patch gearing up for the expansion.  There is a lot going on in this patch, so make sure you read the patch notes!  It’s an exciting time to be a Word of Warcraft player. What are you looking forward to?
