Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is the latest in the series of popular Lego games. For this adventure, Batman travels to outer-space and with the help of fellow DC superheroes, faces off against the evil Brainiac. Developer Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has enlisted a slew of voice talent from television and film to contribute to the game. In this latest trailer, voice actors Conan O’Brien, Stephen Amell, and Kevin Smith talk about their roles in the title. The Lego versions of each actor is quite similar to their real life counterparts. Conan O’Brien is depicted with his late night suit and stacked red hair. Kevin Smith wears his often seen sports jersey and wields a loudspeaker in the game to stun opponents.
Stephen Amell of course voices Green Arrow, the character he portrays on the popular CW series Arrow. The other stars of the show will be featured in the game as well via a DLC pack. Fans of Arrow will see not only Oliver Queen, but characters like Diggle, Felicity, Slade Wilson, and Malcolm Merlyn in the game.
Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham launches on November 11th for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, Wii U, and 3DS. Go behind the scenes for a look at the game with the trailer below.
This is an impressive list of unique voice talent the developers have assembled for the game. I’m a big fan of the show Arrow, enjoy Kevin Smith’s podcasts, and Conan O’Brien is my favorite late night host. I’m not the biggest fan of the Lego series of games, but if I did decide to pick one up, Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham would be it.
