Microsoft will be releasing a Xbox One bundle this holiday that includes both the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Unity and last year’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
The bundle is available with and without the Kinect. The Kinect-free bundle will go on sale for £349/$399 and the Kinect edition will cost £399/$499. Exclusive to the Kinect edition bundle, Microsoft is also throwing in a copy of Dance Central Spotlight.
Due to go on sale in North America on November 2nd, and November 4th in Europe, the bundle will come with digital download codes for both games. However, players will be unable to download and play Assassin’s Creed: Unity until its release on November 11th in North America and November 14th in Europe.
My Opinion:
With Assassin’s Creed: Unity being one of the more highly anticipated titles being released this holiday season, I can see this Xbox One bundle selling quite a fair bit. During this holiday season, both Sony and Microsoft will be pushing for a large increase in the sales of their respective consoles and to do this, they need to release console bundles that provide great games for good value.
