Weekends are meant strictly for gaming; at least that’s what we think. Here is where you can find out all of our crazy plans for the upcoming weekend! Also, depending on how observant you are, you’ll notice that there are a bunch of new names on the list! Welcome in some of our new writers!
Courtney Osborn, Founder & Editor in Chief:
After pulling two all-nighters this week so that I could beat The Evil Within, I plan to get a LOT of rest this weekend. I will probably do a little bit of trophy hunting to snag the last few easy trophies in The Evil Within before finally moving on to a relaxing weekend in bed playing Fantasy Life.
Lou Contaldi, Executive Editor:
T-minus four days until I get my Xbox One and Sunset Overdrive. But what am I doing this weekend? Most likely playing around with Dust: An Elysian Tail… I’m still not sure what I think of it, but you better believe I will be going off about it soon.
Myles Farrington, Senior Editor:
More Destiny! My life is horrendously boring! Find out more about by following me on Twitter… or something! By the way, my Twitter is @FuriousMILK.
Harry Loizides, Senior Editor:
Someday I’ll finish Metroid Fusion…but I’ll also be playing Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 3DS as well as The Legend of the Dark Witch (review coming soon).
Jesse Webster, Senior Writer:
I’m not really playing anything right now. I continue to be stuck at Shin Megami Tensei IV and I do need to go back to Golden Arena mode in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. I’m just not really doing anything.
Aaron Dobbe, Associate Writer:
Fly me to the moon, because I’m gonna be playing Bayonetta 2 nearly every waking moment.
Brian Hoerst, Associate Writer:
Man, with the influx of new writers (including myself), this list is going to be huge. I’m working back through recent PS Plus games, so this weekend will be Fez and Road Not Taken. Unless I decide to jump back into Mordor for some trophies, that is.
Jared Poole, Associate Writer:
Sadly I work pretty much all weekend and there is football on Sunday but I am going to try to cram some Danganronpa and Minecraft on my Vita while on breaks/lunches. Also I might chill with some FIFA 15 while catching up on some podcasts.
Kaleob Archambeau, Associate Writer:
Trophy Hunting in Assassin’s Creed 2, playing Mass Effect 3 or Legend of Korra.
Landon Luthi, Associate Writer:
I will be enjoying one of my last warm days fishing on Saturday morning followed by a birthday party. Besides that, I have piles of neglected homework that will continue to be ignored, because Super Smash Bros. for 3DS is my friend. I am now considering freezing myself for 3 weeks after watching the latest Nintendo Direct.
Lucy Pallent, Associate Writer:
Going on holiday, as I’m off school next week. So it looks like I’ll be grinding away in Final Fantasy IV: Complete Edition for PSP. In between studying Macbeth, for my homework, I’ll be attempting to complete the Pokedex in Pokemon X. Only 500 more to go!
Matt Batson, Associate Writer:
I will be avoiding my hideously long backlog of games by playing Super Smash Bros. 3DS, NBA 2K15, and one secret game that I will tell you more about on the 29th.
Matt Middleton, Associate Writer:
Remote Played Transistor through my Vita Thursday, and now I’m hooked on it again. I promise I’ll finish it this time! Also want to get back to Dust: An Elysian Tale. Such a great game!
Matt Southwell, Associate Writer:
This weekend will mainly consist of more Forza Horizon 2, one of the best racers I’ve played in a long time. I will also try to find some time to play Alien: Isolation, now I have a TV that can display blacks!
Nathan Reid, Associate Writer:
When I’m not working I have some Halloween plans lined up: corn mazes, haunted houses, getting a pumpkin, and thinking up costumes (let me know if you have any ideas). As far as games are concerned I’ll be playing Deadly Premonition (the perfect B-Movie horror game), as well as Minecraft Vita.
Riley Berry, Associate Writer:
I will be spending most of my Saturday playing D&D with some of my friends. The only video game I plan to play is Yakuza 3. It is not video game related, but I am watching Twin Peaks for the first time and I hope to watch a few episodes this weekend.
Tyler Bartlemus, Associate Writer:
Winter has pretty much arrived up here in Alaska, so I will be trying to catch up on my backlog of games. I have recently started Shadow of Mordor these last couple days, so that is likely what I’ll be playing all weekend.
