In last week’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo’s President Satoru Iwata outlined new details about Splatoon’s single player campaign.
Describing the campaign, Iwata said, “Squid versus Octopus. Nature’s epic battle of supremacy, turf, and the survival of each species begins.” In the trailer above, examples of basic gameplay, puzzles, levels and enemy types were revealed.
The game is expected to release in the second quarter of 2015 for Wii U.
My Opinion:
Splatoon! This game was already my most anticipated title of 2015. The fact that it includes a single player campaign with epic platforming and ink traversal mechanics is astoundingly good news for the life of this game in my house. I just can’t wait to play it.
