Congratulations Game Freak! Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire (ORAS) have been pre-ordered over 1 million times in Japan, according to Japanese website Dengeki Online. Meaning that Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire have beaten Pokémon X and Pokémon Y’s Japanese pre-order numbers.
ORAS are remakes of the popular Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire.
They will be released with updated music, visuals and some new content. Furthermore, they will both be released on November 28th and are also available in a bundle.
My Opinion:
I think this is great news for Game Freak. I’m not surprised as Pokémon games always sell very well in Japan. But, this does make it seem like Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will sell more units than Pokémon X and Y, in Japan at least.
