Lucario Amiibo Becomes a Store Exclusive

The third wave of Amiibo characters were announced recently, and Lucario’s figure will only be sold at Toys “R” Us.

Lucario is the third Amiibo character to be released at a single retailer.  In order to acquire the fighting/steel-type Pokémon, you will need to pay a visit to Toys “R” Us.  This news comes shortly after the announcements of Shulk becoming a Gamestop exclusive and Meta Knight being exclusive to Best Buy.

As of now, your Amiibo characters can be used currently for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Hyrule Warriors, and Mario Kart 8.  The first group of Amiibo characters came out this morning while the second section will be available next month.

Nintendo also announced in the past that The New Nintendo 3DS and The New Nintendo 3DS LL will be able to link directly to the Amiibo figurines with ease via its lower screen.

Which Amiibo characters do you plan on buying this weekend?  We would love to hear your opinions below in the chat.

My Opinion:

I was a little bothered by the price of the Amiibo when the news first broke out.  After seeing how many people are buying them, I am now bothered by the idea of not even getting my hands on the characters that I really want (Mega Man, Ike, Charizard).
