Tumblr user lizizzleforizzle, formally known as Liz Danchik, decided to repaint Link’s Amiibo to match his “Fierce Diety” appearance from Majora’s Mask.

Link is one of twelve Amiibo figures currently available in stores. The figures are compatible with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Mario Kart 8, and Hyrule Warriors.
After asking customers to register interest for the figure in her initial post, Middle of Nowhere Gaming has confirmed the hand-painted figures will be available for purchase by this email: lizdanchik@gmail.com
You can see more images of the Link Amiibo on her tumblr.
My Opinion:
Video gaming facilitates a fantastic community of artists, modifiers, and writers. One of its best features is its ability to customize the gaming experience, whether through game modifications, fan fiction, or repainted figures. I can’t wait to see what Liz and other artists have in store for the rest of us!
For all video-game art news, keep it here on Middle of Nowhere Gaming.
Correction: The article originally stated Link’s Fierce Deity appearance as originating from Hyrule Warriors. It actually originates from Majora’s Mask and is featured in Super Smash Bros. A reader pointed out the mistake and it has been corrected above.
