UPDATE: Rosalina & Luma Amiibo Sold Out, Confirmed by Target

Less than 24 hours after pictures leaked showing the Rosalina & Luma Amiibo is a Target exclusive, it seems to have already sold out.

Target has confirmed on their Facebook page that the Rosalina & Luma Amiibo is currently sold out of pre-orders.

The Rosalina & Luma Amiibo was announced as part of the third wave scheduled for North American release in February 2015. As of this morning, target.com shows that the pre-orders are sold out.

This quick sell out seems to mirror the Lucario Amiibo selling out last week from Toys ‘R’ Us.

My Opinion:
I’m not a happy camper. I go to sleep last night with no Rosalina & Luma available on the website and I wake up to it not only being on the site, but also being sold out. Not cool Target, not cool…

  1. Was just at Targets Facebook page and no where does it say anything about these amiibo. There is no evidence that anyone has pre-ordered this item, There have been articles and discussion threads all over the interenet about this item and not one person has said they got a pre-order from target. Please stop writing false news. All you’re doing is fueling the fake market on Ebay for these preorders that don’t exist yet. People are scamming others for $100 a pop on Ebay for this pre-order. Now I’m sure people have read this article and ran to ebay to give their money to these scammers. thanks to you.

  2. It’s not sold out. I was on the site at 4am when it went live and it instantly said not available/sold out, there was never a pre order option and I’m POSITIVE since I was refreshing the page and it showed up outta no where. They are still preparing to take preorders

    1. Where does it “clearly state” Sold Out? It says “Out of Stock Online”, and it has said that since the moment the listing went up. Nobody in North America has been able to order a Rosalina yet.

  3. They put it up on the site, but it has not been available for pre-order yet. I’ve been checking frequently. Chill out, you help to create the fear and panic when you prematurely post false information like this.
