During the Jump Festa (Japanese version of Comicom) live stream, Sony and Square Enix announced a limited edition PlayStation 4 bundle for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.
The PS4, pictured above, will be released on March 19, 2015 in Japan alongside Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, and it will cost 46,980 yen, not including taxes. The console will be available for pre-order on December 22nd.
The PS4 Bundle will include:
- A red and black 500GB PS4
- A red and black PS4 controller
- Final Fantasy Type-0 HD
- Access to Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae
- A special dedicated theme
- 15 days of PlayStation Plus
- A monaural headset
- The usual cables/power leads.
This console was designed by Final Fantasy art director Yusuke Naora who worked on Final Fantasy Type-0 and is now focusing on Final Fantasy XV. Furthermore, no Western release has been announced and it currently doesn’t seem likely.
My Opinion:
This PlayStation 4 looks amazing! I really hope it comes out here in Europe or the US but, sadly like most cool Japanese things, I don’t think it will.
