If you are eagerly awaiting some monster-slaying action in Toukiden: Kiwami, then ready your credit cards — the pre-order bonuses have been announced.
The news comes straight from Koei Tecmo who revealed that players pre-ordering the game at GameStop will receive Reki and Soma-inspired costumes, as well as classic armor from the six original players in the 2014 release. Meanwhile, those who pre-order the game from Amazon or PlayStation Network will pick up two pieces of armor: a set of Tenko gloves and a Chthonian Fiend Mask.
To wrap up the announcement, Koei Tecmo released a new teaser trailer found below:
Toukiden: Kiwami will release on March 27th, 2015 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
Generally I am pretty ambivalent to pre-order bonuses; it is free gear or missions for putting money down on a game you were going to grab anyway. That said, I like to see a bit more content than new armor skins. I wouldn’t recommend grabbing this, but then again I was not a fan of the original Toukiden.
