Weekends are meant strictly for gaming; at least that’s what we think. Here is where you can find out all of our crazy plans for the upcoming weekend!

 

Courtney Osborn, Editor in Chief:

I’ll be playing Dying Light all weekend so that I can get my review up by Monday/Tuesday! I may be streaming off and on, so check out my Twitch to find out if I am!

 

Myles Farrington, Senior Editor:

This is another normal weekend for this humble editor. I’ll be helping someone move (maybe), buying some frames for my posters and leveling up raid weapons in Destiny… I suppose those first two bits aren’t as normal as they could be, but there’s nothing exciting going on. Brian Hoerst, Associate Editor:

Man, I bit hard on the Dying Light hype and bought it on an impulse. I’m slowly overcoming my dislike of zombie games, helped out mostly by the parkour and sweet environments in this one. Hopefully I’ll get a taste of co-op with one of my MONG cohorts this weekend.

 

Jake Dekker, Senior Writer:

I probably spend the first half of my weekend trying to convince myself not to buy Dying Light, because I don’t have to play it.  Then for the second half of the weekend I will probably be playing Dying Light after I’ve convinced myself to buy it.  Video Games.  Am I right?

 

Audrey Lips, Associate Writer:

I have a friend’s birthday on Saturday and the Super Bowl Sunday, so unfortunately I will not be gaming as much. I’ll probably plug in some time playing Dragon Age when I have some free time though (I’m almost finished with the story!).

 

Matt Middleton, Associate Writer:

Similar to other staff members, it seems I’ve caught a bad case of the Dying Light fever. I can’t get enough, and nothing else is making it go away! Plenty of fun will be had this weekend as I play more. Maybe I’ll finish up my Shadow of the Colossus hard mode run, too. That soundtrack.. Man. So many possibilities! It’s a great time to be a gamer.

 

Ryan Amirault, Associate Writer:

I bet you can all guess what I will be playing this weekend! It’s more Destiny, but I am going to be getting back into some other games as well since I am finally to the point in Destiny where I can take a bit of a break and just mainly do the raids and weekly events. GTA5, Driveclub and NHL15 are the other games I have on deck, along with Far Cry 4. As an update, I platinumed Resogun on Vita this past week which brings my total of platinum trophies to 20! Enjoy the weekend everyone!

 

Tyler Bartlemus, Associate Writer:

With Super Bowl coming up this Sunday, my gaming time is going to be fairly limited this weekend. As I am reviewing Life is Strange, that will be my main goal for the next few days. Hopefully if I can, I will get some Dragon Age at some point.
