The first piece of DLC for The Evil Within was teased earlier this month and was said to be coming in March. Now we know exactly when.
The DLC is titled, The Assignment and centers around Julie Kidman, one of the detectives from the main game. It will be available March 10th in North America. Narratively, the DLC runs concurrent to the events of the main game.
You can purchase the DLC individually for $9.99, or you have the option of buying the season pass for $20, which will include two other pieces of DLC that are expected to release later this year.
My Opinion:
I was mostly a fan of the original The Evil Within and am still contemplating whether or not I want to buy the season pass. At times, the game was a frustrating experience as there were plenty of instant death. But the game did play incredibly well.
I’ve always wondering what the hell Julia Kidman was doing, as she was absent for most of the duration of The Evil Within.
