Half-Man. Half-Dragon. The Shokan Master of Kombat is back. Goro makes his return as a playable character in Mortal Kombat X. Anyone who pre-orders a copy of the game will be able to take control of the body-ripping, spine-snapping, four-armed beast. Netherrealm Studios has stated Goro will available as DLC at a later date. After watching the trailer below it will be hard to resist pre-ordering the game and destroying opponents with the epitome of pure brute force.
Mortal Kombat X releases on April 15 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
My Opinion:
I have already pre-ordered my copy of the game and I am glad I did. Goro looks like he will be a blast to play with. He has always been an intimidating presence, dating back to his first appearance in the original Mortal Kombat. I remember a young me working up the nerve to face him playing at home on my SNES. While he was the sub-boss to Shang Tsung, I had a more difficult time defeating him than the soul-stealing sorcerer.
