Today, WB Games and Avalanche Studios revealed a new trailer for Mad Max. Mad Max is a game based on the movie series, but has no relation to the new film; Mad Max: Fury Road.

The new trailer shows off vehicle combat, hand to hand combat, and the return of the Thunderdome. One of the key features in Mad Max is the ability to build your car from scratch. You’ll need to find parts and scraps hidden in the vast desert open-world. The Thunderdome makes a return as you go through an arena. The hand to hand combat seems to be taken from the Batman Arkham games and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. The new trailer showed a lot of what to expect from the new game.

Mad Max will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 1, 2015.

My Opinion:

This game is looking fantastic and I can’t wait to play it. The only problem, so far, is the release date. Mad Max is releasing on the same day as Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. If WB Games and Avalanche Studios decides to delay the game because of this, I won’t blame them.
