Warner Bros. has announced that Batman: Arkham Knight will be receiving a season pass and a Premium Edition.
The season pass will cost £32.99 or $39.99 and will provide DLC for six months following Arkham Knight’s release. Specific details were not released but we were told that: “new story missions, additional super-villains invading Gotham City, legendary Batmobile skins, advanced challenge maps, alternative character skins, and new drivable race tracks” would be included in the season pass.
A Premium Edition of Arkham Knight will be available for £87.99, or $99 which will include a digital copy of the game and the season pass.
Batman: Arkham Knight recently got a new trailer showing Batman teaming up with several heros. Batman: Arkham Knight releases on June 23rd for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
My Opinion:
First of all, thank you Rocksteady (or WB) for the correct pricing. It’s great to see a game cost considerably less in pounds than in dollars. Anyway, I understand a lot of the hate going on about this announcement, I also hate when companies announce season passes before the game has been released. And it doesn’t help that this season pass is quite expensive – I just hope the content will be worth it!
