Ready for more Devil May Cry? Good news, Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition launches in a month.
Capcom has revealed the game will release on June 23rd. The game will be a $25 digital download available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Along with this information, pre-order bonuses have also been announced. The bonus is a special costume for Lady and Trish. The look of these outfits can be seen below:
Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition was announced alongside DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition late last year. It will not just be a simple re-release; alongside updated graphics, the game adds three new playable characters on top of the original two. Nero and Dante are the original two, while Lady and Trish are now playable in the original’s places respectively. Vergil, the fifth playable character, will go through the same areas but have different story content. How this new content will tie into the original story remains to be seen.
My Opinion:
I love Devil May Cry, (as seen in my glowing review for DmC: Definitive Edition) and cannot wait for this to come out. Vergil was a joy to control in his previous playable appearances, and his addition is just the icing on top of this already wonderful game.
