The Geekend Update: 5/23/15

Weekends are meant strictly for gaming; at least that’s what we think. Here is where you can find out all of our crazy plans for the upcoming weekend!

Courtney Osborn, Editor in Chief:

I’ll be toiling away in the beautiful world of The Witcher 3 all weekend.  So far I’ve put in over 40 hours since release day.  Working hard on it for our review! =D Look out for it sometime next week!

Lou Contaldi, Executive Editor:

“House of Wolves” is out and I’m reviewing it, so the Reef better be prepared for this Guardian. Make sure to find me on PS4 at KingLouieTrip if you want to be part of the review (and help me fail miserably at Trials of Osiris).

Myles Farrington, Senior Editor:

The House of Wolves DLC finally released for Destiny and, though I’m at max level, there’s still so much for me to do! Trials of Osiris, level 35 Prison of Elders and bashing my head into a wall because Trials is just the most tough!

Brian Hoerst, Associate Editor:

It’s all about ye ol’ witchin’ this weekend with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. And probably some more Project CARS.

Lucy Pallent, Senior Writer:

In between the last Splatoon Global Testfire, I’ll be finishing Swords and Soldiers II for review. This weekend is going to be awesome!

Aaron Dobbe, Associate Writer:

After participating in the final Splatoon Global Testfire, I’ll be working on Stretchmo and probably playing a bunch of online mahjong at Tenhou, because I’m really in the mood for that for some reason.

Audrey Lips, Associate Writer:

I’m still recovering from the car accident that happened last week, but I’m hoping to hop on Destiny and play some “House of Wolves” in my spare time! I’m also moving out of my old place, so it’ll be really sporadic. Add me on PS4, my PSN is AudgeDre 🙂

Benjamin Luthi, Associate Writer:

Today will be all about Pac-Man, since it’s the yellow fellow’s 35th birthday! Naturally, that will include a number of 8-player battles in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and some good ol’ Pac-Man Championship Edition.

Riley Berry, Associate Writer:

I will be spending my weekend on a critically acclaimed RPG…that is not The Witcher 3. I just started the Mass Effect trilogy and I think I understand why it is a beloved series.

Ryan Amirault, Associate Writer:

It’s a very busy weekend for me outside of the gaming world. I am all in on the Destiny House of Wolves DLC so that is about all I’ll be playing. I hope you all enjoy!

What games are you playing this weekend?
