Sony has a released an introduction trailer for their upcoming indie exclusive What Remains of Edith Finch.

What Remains of Edith Finch is the sophomore effort of Giant Sparrow, the creator of the 2012 game The Unfinished Swan. Giant Sparrow’s upcoming game is a first-person adventure in which the titular character explores the lives of her descendents trying to figure out why she is the last member of her family left alive. What Remains of Edith Finch was originally announced at last year’s PlayStation Experience alongside a litany of other games.. It will  will release in 2016 for PlayStation 4.

My Opinion:

Sony is the clear indie champion right now, and it looks like the potential hits keep on coming! What Remains of Edith Finch is a gorgeous game, and the mystery behind the story is really intriguing. I hope the ability to play through the various lives of her ancestors at different points in history provides a real variety to the game both visually and gameplay wise. I’ll definitely be checking this out next year!
