Amazon Reveals Potential Release Window for Fallout 4

Stoking the fires of rampant speculation as to the release date of the hugely anticipated Fallout 4 Amazon has posted a listing for the upcoming post apocalyptic RPG with a release date of December 31, 2015.

Now, to be fair, when retailers do this, it is usually to put a placeholder date on a game that does not have an official release date yet. That being said, Bethesda’s own store recently had Fallout 4 listed as TBA 2015 but that has since been changed to just a solid TBA. While nothing is set in stone yet, there is a lot of clues that are giving gamers hope that they’ll be able to journey back into the wasteland sooner rather than later.

Fallout 4 was revealed last week via trailer. While details at the moment are still scarce, we should expect to learn a whole lot more about Fallout 4 in Bethesda’s E3 Conference on Sunday at 5:30 pm PST, with numerous  Fallout 4 focused events taking place through the week at E3.

My Opinion:

I really hate getting my hopes up, especially when we live in a world where so many games get revealed before they are ready, and we the gaming populace have to live through disappointing release date shifts and delays. That being said, it’s impossible not to get my hopes up for Fallout 4. I’ve been a lifelong fan of the series, and have been waiting for years for this to be announced! I can’t help but cling to the hope that I’ll get to play this soon. My hopes are somewhat bolstered by Bethesda. They have clearly played their cards very close to their chests, and they seem to have a game they have been working on for a while, so, who knows? Maybe we’re truly in for a 2015 release, I certainly hope so! Sunday night, and the Bethesda press conference cannot come fast enough!!!!
