Take-Two Interactive has revealed the existence of Mafia III today.

The upcoming game was announced via a brand new twitter account @MafiaGame. Along with confirming the existence of Mafia III, it was also announced that a trailer for the game will go live at 8:00 am ET next week on August 5th, coinciding with Gamescom. You will be able to watch the trailer here.

Mafia is a third-person open world shooter. No release date has been announced, but it is expected to be available on a variety of next gen platforms. Be sure to keep your eyes on MONG as more details become available on the upcoming game.

My Opinion:

I’ve had only a little contact with the Mafia games, but I enjoyed what I played. I love open world games, and I’m really excited to see what they do with a next gen installment. I can’t wait to see the trailer next week!
