Rainbow Mika Returns For Street Fighter V

The latest fighter has been revealed for Street Fighter V and it is an old favorite.  Rainbow Mika makes her grand return to the series and doesn’t come alone.  Rainbow Mika, or R. Mika for short, made her first and only appearance in Street Fighter Alpha 3 way back in 1998.

That is until now, as the young flamboyant wrestler returns ready to unleash her high-flying wrestling based offense.  In the trailer released, R. Mika can be seen performing a variety of wrestling moves from dropkicks, and powerbombs, to even a good ol’ Stone Cold Stunner.

R.Mika can even call in her tag-team partner Nadeshiko to assist in the action.  By activating her V-Trigger, Nadeshiko will attack from different angles based on the direction held.  Any gamer in the Seattle area this weekend will get a chance to play as R. Mika during PAX Prime at Capcom’s booth.  Watch the trailer below and see what happens when R. Mika and her partner deliver the ultimate tag-team blow.

My Opinion:

As someone who didn’t get a chance to play a lot of the Street Fighter Alpha games, I am glad Capcom is bringing some fighters back from the series.  I really like Rainbow Mika’s offense and she is a colorful character to say the least.
