When tragedy strikes, there will always be someone who takes advantage of the situation.  Such is the jumping off point for LawBreakers, the first game for Boss Key Productions.  The company has quite the pedigree behind it, as it was founded by Cliff Bleszinski (Unreal Tournament, Gears of War) and Arjan Brussee (Killzone).  LawBreakers is a competitive team-based FPS set in the future where the moon has split, resulting in a cataclysmic event known as “The Shattering.”

Massive earthquakes, boiling oceans, and gravity forever altered are just a few of the side effects that result.  Emerging from the chaos are gangs which take advantage of gravity manipulation and supplements, that grant ordinary people superhuman like powers.  In order to stop this deadly coalition known as BREAKERS, comes what else but the LAW.  Watch the announce trailer below and find out why “You either uphold the law or you break it.”

My Opinion:

I’ve been hearing about this game for awhile, back when it was known as “Project BlueStreak.”  I even remember listening to Cliffy B express his enthusiasm for it and some of the gameplay mechanics on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast.  I’m not much of a PC gamer, but I do look forward to seeing what the game looks like in action.
