Today, CD Projekt Red has revealed the details of the first expansion pack for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone.

The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone will arrive on October 13th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Alongside the digital release, there will also be a physical release of the game. If you manage to get a digital version, you can go to a special site to redeem your Gwent Pack. The physical release of the game will be $19.99. The physical box comes with:

• Hearts of Stone Download Card
• Gwent Guide
• Monster Gwent Deck
• Scoia’tael Gwent Deck
• Gwent Tokens
• Collector’s Box

Hearts of Stone promises to bring 10 hours into the world of The Witcher 3 with new missions, characters, monsters and storylines. This is one of two planned expansion packs for The Witcher 3 with the next one, The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine, coming sometime early 2016.

My Opinion:

More of the Witcher 3 is never a bad thing. I’m hoping to get this as soon as I can. My save got corrupted somehow and I had to start all over again. So, I’m hoping to beat the game once more before I play this. I was thinking about getting the physical release, but then I remembered that it would be better to just get the Expansion Pass instead. I haven’t bought that yet, but I will soon.
