Oh, PlayStation Vita. Sony’s handheld system has never gained traction as a commercial success, but has been the birthplace of some very creative IPs for the company. One such creation was Gravity Rush released on the Vita back in 2012.
Now Sony has announced they are bringing the handheld hit over to the PlayStation 4 in the form of Gravity Rush Remastered. The updated version of the game will feature improved graphics and performance, with full HD 1080p visuals. In addition, the title will come with all 3 DLC packs released for Gravity Rush. Gravity Rush Remastered releases on February 9th for the PS4. For a glimpse of it in all its cell-shaded beauty, watch the announcement trailer below.
First Tearaway, now Gravity Rush. I can’t blame Sony for bringing over well received Vita games to the bigger PS4 audience. I actually own Gravity Rush on my Vita courtesy of PS+, but never got around to playing it. Seeing it in action again, along with news of a sequel, makes me want to do so now.
