Nintendo unveils the future of Pokémon in 2016
In this morning’s Pokémon Direct new Pokémon games dubbed Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon were announced for Holiday of 2016.
With the Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow ports coming out, they also announced you can store Pokémon from those games in their Pokébank system. Something impossible to do in the past. Pokémon Sun and Moon will be utilizing Pokébank, making all your Red, Blue, and Yellow Pokémon transferable.
Also coming are updates to Nintendo’s existing games (Pokémon X & Y / Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire). These updates will be introducing a multiple language feature. The feature pushes global connectivity by add nine different languages.
Nintendo also made the comment that more Pokémon news is to come in 2016, so be looking forward to more!
New Pokémon news is always a big deal to me, being a fan since the original games. With no other details on Pokémon Sun and Moon it leaves room for a lot of speculation. I think with another mainstream title it will be offering new Pokémon and a whole new region. With the release date coming this year, it’s exciting news that I can get my hands on it relatively soon! Gotta Catch ‘Em All!
