The news comes from a Twitter interaction with a fan where Hines reveals that until evaluation is done, there is no release date to give. Further, that Bethesda doesn’t currently have a date for when said evaluation will be completed.
Fallout 4 mods are currently available on both PC and Xbox One.
Whether or not mod support will come to PS4 players anytime soon, is anyone’s best guess. However, what they do have to look forward to is the game’s final and biggest expansion: Nuka World, which releases August 30th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
It’s been a few months since I’ve wandered the Wasteland. Originally, I planned to return to the Commonwealth once mods landed, but now that ship has sailed. Unless of course we get a Stone Cold Stunner mod, where a gun shoots out Stone Cold, who in turn drops a stunner on your enemies. Then I’ll be back.
